David Lawrence scored High School Musical 3, American Pie, Van Wilder starring Ryan Reynolds, Ambulance Girl starring Kathy Bates, Pop Rocks starring Gary Cole and Sherilyn Fenn, as well as Muppet Classic Theater starring Kermit and Miss Piggy.
On television, you’ve heard his music on The Cleaner, Harper’s Island, Jericho and Cane. He contributed songs to Disney’s High School Musical 1 & 2, Cheetah Girls 2, MTV’s American Mall and Holidaze.
He received a quadruple Platinum CD for his work on the original High School Musical soundtrack (the best-selling CD of 2006) and served as music director and supervisor on the Emmy Award-winning Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. In 2009, he received the coveted ASCAP Achievement Award for his work on High School Musical 3. Most recently, he adapted, arranged and orchestrated Disney’s Camp Rock for the stage.
He lives in Los Angeles with his collaborator/wife, Faye Greenberg, and his amazing daughter, Mabel.
